This study discusses the role of artificial intelligence in robot journalism within modern media functions and examines whether this technology can replace journalists and manage and renew the major media organisations’ activities, such as news production and broadcasting, especially with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and its numerous applications. Using an analytical approach, presenting the theoretical framework and key concepts of the topic, and a forward-looking discussion of the future of media performance and the employment prospects of journalists, the study concluded that despite the effectiveness of intelligent applications in media, it is difficult to assert that they can completely replace journalists in all activities, particularly those that require responsibility and human sensitivity. Therefore, it recommended that researchers invest in these applications without relying on them entirely.
