ملخص : تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل العلاقة بين تمثّلات الطلبة للقيمة العملية للشهادة الجامعية وأنماط غيابهم عن المحاضرات، انطلاقاً من فرضية مفادها أن ضعف الثقة في جدوى الشهادة وتشاؤم الطلبة من فرص التوظيف يسهمان في تآكل الالتزام الأكاديمي. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الكيفي باستخدام الاستمارة الإلكترونية أداة لجمع البيانات من عينة قصدية قوامها 70 طالباً وطالبة من طلبة السنة الأولى جذع مشترك علوم اجتماعية بجامعة خميس مليانة؛ توزعت بين 57 طالبة بنسبة 81% و13 طالباً بنسبة 19%. جرت الدراسة الميدانية في الفترة الممتدة من نهاية جانفي إلى بداية فبراير2026، أظهرت النتائج أن تدني التوقعات المهنية يرتبط ارتباطاً موجباً بتكرار الغياب عن المحاضرات، حيث يعكس الطلبة اقتناعاً متنامياً بأن الشهادة الجامعية لم تعد تتمتع بالقيمة السوقية المرجوة؛ مما ينجم عنه إحساس بالاغتراب عن المؤسسة الأكاديمية. كما كشفت الدراسة عن تباينات جندرية في أنماط الاستجابة؛ إذ أبدت الطالبات انشغالاً أكثر حدة بسوق العمل مقارنة بنظرائهن الذكور. تؤكد هذه النتائج ضرورة إعادة النظر في السياسات التعليمية والمؤسسية لمعالجة الفجوة المتسعة بين التطلعات الأكاديمية والواقع المهني. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' representations of the practical value of the university degree and patterns of their absenteeism from lectures, proceeding from the hypothesis that weak confidence in the utility of the degree and students' pessimism regarding employment opportunities contribute to the erosion of academic commitment. The study adopted a qualitative methodology using an electronic questionnaire as a tool for data collection from a purposive sample consisting of 70 male and female students from first-year students of the joint social sciences stream at Khemis Miliana University; distributed between 57 female students constituting 81% and 13 male students constituting 19%. The field study was conducted during the period extending from the end of January to the beginning of February 2026. The results revealed that diminished professional expectations are positively correlated with the frequency of lecture absenteeism, reflecting students' growing conviction that the university degree no longer possesses the desired market value; consequently resulting in a sense of alienation from the academic institution. The study also revealed gender variations in response patterns; female students demonstrated greater concern about the labor market compared to their male counterparts. These findings underscore the necessity of reconsidering educational and institutional policies to address the widening gap between academic aspirations and professional reality.
