This study seeks to examine the social determinants affecting the use of reconstructive surgery among victims of road traffic accidents, as well as identify the statistically significant differences in its use in relation to the selected social variables, specifically gender and educational level. The study covered three provinces in the northern region of Algeria, namely Algiers, Chlef, and Bouira, and a total of 62 respondents, comprising 37 males and 25 females. Through the application of a three-point Likert scale as a means of measuring social dimensions, it has been established that social determinants do affect the decision on the use of reconstructive surgery among affected individuals. There were also identified statistically significant differences in its use, specifically in relation to the social variables gender, in favor of females, and educational level, in favor of those at the university level.
