The Development Of Digital Communication Infrastructure In Algeria And Its Role In Supporting Digital Transformation.

Abstract
This study analyzes the development of digital communication infrastructure in Algeria from 2018 to the third quarter of 2025. It examines fixed and mobile telephony and Internet indicators using official secondary data. The results show clear quantitative and technological progress in the telecommunications sector. Fixed telephone subscriptions reached 7.50 million, mobile subscriptions 55.94 million, and Internet subscriptions 60.54 million. The study confirms the role of communication infrastructure in supporting digital transformation, subject to better service quality, wider fiber-optic coverage, stronger digital skills, and improved cybersecurity. تحلل هذه الدراسة تطور البنية الرقمية الاتصالية في الجزائر خلال الفترة الممتدة من سنة 2018 إلى الثلاثي الثالث من سنة 2025. وتتناول مؤشرات الهاتف الثابت والهاتف النقال والإنترنت، بالاعتماد على بيانات ثانوية رسمية،وتظهر النتائج تحقيق تقدم كمي وتكنولوجي ملحوظ في قطاع الاتصالات، إذ بلغ عدد اشتراكات الهاتف الثابت 7.50 ملايين اشتراك، واشتراكات الهاتف النقال 55.94 مليون اشتراك، في حين وصل عدد اشتراكات الإنترنت إلى 60.54 مليون اشتراك، كما تؤكد الدراسة دور البنية الاتصالية في دعم التحول الرقمي، شريطة الارتقاء بجودة الخدمات، وتوسيع تغطية الألياف البصرية، وتنمية المهارات الرقمية، وتعزيز الأمن السيبراني.
