This article explores the profound transformations that have affected linguistic practices within contemporary organizations, under the growing influence of automated language technologies. Digital tools such as autocorrect, neural machine translators, and smart writing assistants are promoted as means to achieve efficiency and clarity in professional communication. However, they also lead to a form of excessive standardization of language in the workplace. This standardization is not a neutral procedure; rather, it tends to erase subjectivity, individual stylistic forms, and socio-linguistic diversity, which leads to impoverishing the richness of expression within the professional scope. Furthermore, this linguistic unification operates as a hidden mechanism of symbolic adjustment, through imposing implicit linguistic standards dictated by organizational structures themselves. By using tools from critical sociolinguistics and the sociology of organizations, the article adopts a critical approach seeking to unpack the tensions between the demand for efficiency, the dominance of hierarchical authority, and the right to individual expression. It also highlights how technology, through its linguistic mediation, reshapes social and symbolic relationships in the workplace, which reveals the increasing role of automated language in reproducing power, standardization, and regulation in the contemporary professional world.
