التركيبة الاجتماعية المليانية وإسهاماتها في الحياة الاقتصادية خلال العصر الوسيط

الملخص
تسلط الدراسة الضوء على تاريخ مدينة مليانة الوسيطية، وتركز الحديث أكثر على تركيبتها الاجتماعية وفعاليتها في الحياة الاقتصادية، وبشهادة النصوص التاريخية المُقدمة حولها فهي ذات خصوصية طبيعية مميزة أهلتها لأن ترتقي إلى مصاف المُدن الحضارية وفق الشروط الخلدونية، فضلاً عمَّا ورد في محاسنها حول استراتيجيتها الجغرافية وهيكلتها التضاريسية التي سرقت اهتمام الحُكام وسجلوا اعجابهم بها، هذا؛ واحتضنت المدينة أدوار بطولية وشكّلت الملاذ الآمن للثوار، كما شكلت مركزًا للتحركات السياسية والعسكرية. لكن وبالرغم من الأدوار التي احتضنتها المدينة إلاَّ أنَّ الكتابات لم تُعطها حقها من التوثيق والتحليل؛ لا سيما المؤلفات الجغرافية التي تُعدّ من المصادر الأساسية في التأريخ للمُدن خلال العصر الوسيط، خاصة فيما يتعلّق بِبُنيتها الاجتماعية ودورها الاقتصادي واللذان يُعدان عاملان متلازمان للنهوض بصرح أي مدينة أو حاضرة خلال العصر الوسيط، وانطلاقاً من هذه الثغرة العلمية بَنينا دراستنا التي تسعى الكشف عن تاريخها الحضاري الذي يدخل ضمن التعريف بتاريخ مُدن المغرب الأوسط من خلال تقديم قراءة تحليلية معمّقة للمعطيات المُقدمة. Abstract: The study sheds light on the medieval history of the city of Miliana, with a particular focus on its social structure and its role in economic life. Based on historical texts that reference the city, Miliana possessed unique natural features that enabled it to rise to the status of a civilized urban center, in accordance with Ibn Khaldun’s criteria. Furthermore, its praised geographic strategy and distinctive topography drew the admiration of rulers and captured their attention. The city also played a heroic role, serving as a safe haven for rebels and as a hub for political and military movements. Despite these significant roles, scholarly writings have not given Miliana the attention it deserves in terms of documentation and analysis—especially in geographical literature, which constitutes a fundamental source for studying medieval cities, particularly regarding their social structure and economic function. These two elements are essential and interconnected in the rise of any urban center during the medieval period. It is from this academic gap that our study emerges, aiming to uncover the city’s cultural history as part of the broader narrative of medieval urban development in the Central Maghreb, through a detailed analytical reading of the available data.
