الملخص
يُبرز هذا البحث خلافا بين الدّارسين العرب المحدثين، الذين درسوا في الجامعات الأوروبيّة، وأنصار الاتجاه التّراثي في التّعامل مع اللّغة العربيّة، فبينما يميل التّجديديّون إلى رفض المنهج المعياريّ العربيّ و يتجهون إلى تبني المناهج الغربيّة الحديثة، يتمسك المدافعون عن التراث بسلامة المنهج العربيّ وتفوّقه من حيث الاتصال التّاريخي والتّواتر المستمر للّغة في النّصوص القرآنيّة والشّعرية، ويشير المقال إلى تجاهل عدد من الدّارسين المحدثين لظروف نشأة المنهج المعياريّ وأهدافه في البحث العربيّ، حيث سعوا إلى تطبيق نظريّة دي سوسير البنويّة الوصفيّة ومن بعده على اللّغة العربيّة، دون تعقب أسس النّحويين الأوائل في دراسة اللّغة العربيّة، كما يعرض المقال أعمال الدّكتور عبد الرحمن الحاج صالح، الذي قدّم حججا تثبت سبقَ النّحويين العرب إلى اتباع منهج علميّ في استقراء اللّغة وقياسها وتفسير ظواهرها. This research highlights a disagreement between modern Arab scholars who studied in European universities and advocates of the traditional approach to the Arabic language. While modernists tend to reject traditional Arabic methods in favor of contemporary Western approaches, defenders of heritage uphold the integrity of Arabic linguistic traditions, emphasizing their historical continuity and enduring presence in Quranic and poetic texts. The article notes that some modern scholars overlook the context and objectives behind the traditional approach in Arabic research, seeking to apply De Saussure’s theories—and later developments—to the Arabic language without following the foundational principles established by early grammarians. The article also examines the works of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Saleh, who presented arguments demonstrating that Arab grammarians were early pioneers in adopting a scientific approach to language analysis, measurement, and the interpretation of linguistic phenomena.
