The Impact Of Responsible Artificial Intelligence Governance On Firms’ Competitive Performance: An Analytical Study Of The Mediating Role Of Knowledge Management Capabilities

Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of responsible AI governance on the competitive performance of Algerian economic institutions, with knowledge management as a mediating variable. Therefore, a questionnaire was distributed to 63 department officials and decision makers in public and private economic institutions. The results showed that responsible AI governance has no direct impact on competitive performance, but it does have a positive impact on knowledge management. The results also demonstrated a positive effect of knowledge management capabilities on organizations' competitive performance and served as a partial mediator in the relationship between responsible AI governance and competitive performance.
