الملخص
تُعد الطوبونيميا مجالًا مهمًا لفهم الماضي والهوية والذاكرة الجماعية، لأنها تجمع بين اللغة والتاريخ والجغرافيا وغيرها من العلوم. كما تؤكد أن ارتباطها بالتاريخ وثيق، إذ يساعدان معًا في كشف أسرار المجتمع وثقافته ومعتقداته وتحوّلاته. وتشير أيضًا إلى أن تغيّر أسماء الأماكن في الجزائر وشمال إفريقيا يمسّ الهوية ويشوّه الحقائق التاريخية. لذلك تهدف الدراسة إلى إبراز دور الطوبونيميا في تصحيح الأحداث التاريخية واستنطاق ماضي المجتمع بدقة أكبر. Abstract: Toponymy is an important field for understanding the past, identity, and collective memory, because it brings together language, history, geography, and other disciplines. It also emphasizes that its connection with history is very close, as together they help reveal the secrets of society, its culture, beliefs, and transformations. It likewise indicates that changes in place names in Algeria and North Africa affect identity and distort historical facts. The study therefore aims to highlight the role of toponymy in correcting historical events and examining the past of society with greater precision.
