Religious Tourism As A Source Of Social And Economic Development In Algeria

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to identify the various tangible and intangible components of religious tourism in Algeria, As religious temples, shrines, mosques, churches, cultural festivals, religious events, etc. To achieve this goal, the study addressed the most important points found in the research literature regarding the concept of religious tourism, its importance, characteristics, and main dimensions. It also presented the most prominent religious tourism sites and events in Algeria. Finally, the study focused on the obstacles and difficulties that limit the high demand for religious tourism compared to other types of tourism in Algeria. In conclusion, the study found that focusing on activating the components of religious tourism in Algeria plays an important role in achieving social and economic development strategies both locally and nationally. الملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد المقومات المادية واللامادية للسياحة الدينية في الجزائر، مثل المعابد الدينية والمزارات والمساجد والكنائس والمهرجانات الثقافية والفعاليات الدينية وغيرها. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، تناولت الدراسة أهم النقاط التي وردت في الأدبيات البحثية المتعلقة بمفهوم السياحة الدينية وأهميتها وخصائصها وأبعادها الرئيسية. كما عرضت أبرز المواقع والفعاليات السياحية الدينية في الجزائر. وأخيرًا، ركزت الدراسة على المعوقات والصعوبات التي تحد من الطلب الكبير على السياحة الدينية مقارنة بأنواع السياحة الأخرى في الجزائر. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن التركيز على تفعيل مكونات السياحة الدينية في الجزائر يلعب دورًا مهمًا في تحقيق استراتيجيات التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية على المستويين المحلي والوطني.
