Abstract
Abstract: This study examines the role of startups in improving Algeria’s educational system within the context of digital transformation. Using a descriptive-analytical approach based on secondary data and policy reports, it analyzes the contribution of EdTech startups to personalized learning, digital skills development, curriculum innovation, and educational digitalization. The findings show that startups enhance accessibility, student engagement, and digital competencies while supporting the alignment between education and labor market needs. However, their integration remains limited by regulatory constraints, insufficient funding, infrastructural disparities, and resistance to change. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive governance and stronger public–private partnerships to foster educational innovation. It concludes that startups can become a strategic driver for building a more inclusive, innovative, and knowledge-based educational system in Algeria.
