Abstract: The Arab-Islamic philosopher Ibn Sina contributed significantly to scientific and philosophical concepts a profound impact on the history of human thought through his diverse intellectual output. Perhaps the most important works he produced are 'The Canon of Medicine' ,'The Book of Healing,' which engaged many thinkers, particularly those interested in medicine, as well as medical students themselves, both in the Arab and Western worlds. His teachings still resonate in light of contemporary philosophical and scientific fields. Ibn Sina referred to medicine as a science, dividing it into theoretical and practical aspects. He focused on treating the human body and believed that most illnesses and ailments stemmed from psychological conditions, which could contribute to the manifestation of disease symptoms. Conversely, positive states such as joy and happiness help limit the spread of diseases and may be effective in treatment, serving as a key for medical studies that are still under exploration.
