Authors : Hachim Meryem Nabila . Medjahed Kenza .

Abstract

The study highlights key challenges and provides recommendations for Algeria to accelerate Circular Economy (CE) adoption by strengthening policies, increasing investments, and fostering public-private partnerships. This study compares Algeria’s CE performance with that of moderately developed countries such as Turkey, Morocco, and Thailand. Key indicators analyzed include recycling rates, policy implementation, investment levels, and waste management efficiency. Findings show that Algeria lags behind due to weak regulations, low investment, and poor waste management infrastructure.
