Abstract: Al though studies examining the effects of video feedback (VFB) during physical education and sports classes abound in the literature, most have only discussed motor transformations, while few have taken the initiative to tackle the problem. this topic from a motivational point of view. This article attempts to study through an empirical study carried out among 135 students aged 17 to 18, all enrolled in the third year of secondary school at Mhamdia high school in the town of Ben Arous (Tunisia), and participated in an experiment of four weeks, during which they went through different conditions of learning the Leaning Back Rest in gymnastics. A comparative method ologywasimplemented, in volving two experimental conditions comprising a video feedback group (G.Exp; n = 76), as well as a control group (G.C; n = 59). Data were collected using a situational motivation scale (SIMS; Guay, Vallerand and Blanchard, 2000).The main result obtained shows that the Video Feedback significantly improves the motivation of the students towards the gymnastics session.
