This study explores the "Lewziɛa of the olive harvest" in Maẓekwan, focusing on its cultural and social significance and its transformation over time. The central aim is to examine how this tradition reinforces local identity and preserves communal practices in contemporary society. Findings indicate that, despite a decline in the economic and social importance of the olive industry, the festival remains vibrant among the younger generation, who incorporate modern technological tools in its organization. The research also highlights the festival’s role in fostering solidarity and community participation, as both residents and local associations actively contribute to its planning and execution.
