Abstact: The history of social change in Kabylie has spanned several periods, and it primarily affects the institutions of social organization. Tajmat, the autonomous power that ensures the functioning of the village. After Algerien’s independence in 1962, the traditional institution of Tajmat greatly helped the Kabyle population in the reconstruction of their villages. However, the social needs are increasingly increasing among the younger generation; this is the cause that gave rise to youth associations just after the democratic opening in Algeria in 1989. This is the case of the village of Takerboust in the wilaya of Bouira, which we wish to present here through this modest scientific contribution.
