This study sought to investigate the impact of weightlifting exercises administered during the in-season phase on certain aspects of muscular strength in U19 football players; this was achieved by introducing a multi-set system of exercises utilizing simple equipment—such as barbells, weight plates, and a multi-station fitness machine—during regular sessions integrated into the standard training program of the experimental group, while the control group followed their customary training regimen, a methodology informed by reviewing prior recommendations and suggestions pertinent to the research focus on strength facets. The study employed an experimental method with an equivalent groups design, applied to a purposively selected sample of (30) players, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group of (15) players and a control group of (15) players, where the study findings revealed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test measurements in the strength attributes—specifically maximal strength, speed-strength, and explosive strength—for the experimental research group; whereas no statistically significant differences were observed between the pre-test and post-test measurements for the studied attributes among the members of the control group.
