Authors : Boukhari Sabrina .

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate potential strategies for enhancing e-commerce in Algeria. An analytical approach was used, examining the existing legislative and regulatory frameworks, and evaluating Algeria's digital maturity across several key indicators. These include the current state of internet connectivity, assessed by user penetration and connection speed, the adoption of electronic financial instruments over the past five years, and the logistic system supporting e-commerce. Our study deduced significant obstacles impending e-commerce in Algeria and proposes suitable solutions. The most important of these are strengthening legal frameworks and improving internet quality, particularly in remote regions, while simultaneously enhancing delivery services to these areas. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of building consumer and supplier confidence in e-payment systems and e-commerce.
