Authors : Guedouh Nour El Houda .

Abstract

This article examines a newly emerging social problem resulting from digital and technological development. It has become one of the most recent forms of social deviance. At first glance, one might think that the discussion concerns traditional narcotics; however, the issue has evolved into something more serious that threatens the safety of society, particularly among teenagers and youth. This danger arises from the use of websites, which unexpectedly turn users into addicts to certain sound frequencies. The psychological and social effects of these frequencies may even surpass those of conventional drugs. The challenge lies in the difficulty of materially proving their existence as narcotics, given the changing patterns of consumption and addiction. Furthermore, confronting this phenomenon legally remains problematic, as there are no explicit legal provisions criminalizing the use of digital drugs as an offense causing harm to individuals and society.
