This study investigates the impact of digital communication on sustainable development across three diverse regions: South Africa, Brazil, and India. It assesses how digital tools foster community engagement and promote environmental sustainability efforts. Employing a qualitative approach, the research analyzes case studies that incorporate digital strategies to address local sustainability challenges. Findings indicate that while digital communication significantly enhances engagement, its effectiveness is highly contingent on local conditions such as digital literacy and infrastructure. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of digital communication in promoting sustainability and highlights the necessity for tailored strategies to overcome local barriers.
