The Role Of Social Movements In Shaping The Future
Authors : Ahmed Teifouri Rahmani Bouzina . Ahmed Mounis . Alla Mokhtar .
Abstract
This study aims to highlight the role of social movements in transforming the future of societies, given their close connection to issues of global community development and the desire to change existing conditions. To achieve this, the descriptive approach was employed to uncover and interpret the facts and relationships associated with these movements. The study concludes that the reality of societies today is markedly different from that of the past, and may differ as well from the present and the future. This is due, on the one hand, to the dominance of social movements over the political scene and other domains, and, on the other hand, to the decline and weakening of political parties in fulfilling their assigned roles.
