The tomb of the country of Qaitoun, nicknamed (Al-Habs), is located in the city of Si Mustafa, which is currently located in the wilaya of Boumerdes, Algeria, the historian AMMIEN MARCELLIN mentions that it is an area with many mountains with frightening spiral passes, as he adds that the historian Ghazal and Theodus mention that the area is located close to Ouzia (currently Sur El Ghozlan) by about 60 km and from Lakhdaria by about 50 km, and it is located in Thania Bani Aisha. The historian Amianos also mentions the existence of the funerary landmark Bilad al-Qaitun, which is an important landmark built for a local Berber king whose identity we do not know due to the lack of studies, sources and references where both African traditions and classical funerary architectural forms blended, this is confirmed by the researcher Gabriel Kempes, and according to the decoration in it, the mausoleum is similar to the Greco-Roman shrines that date back to the fourth and fifth centuries AD, but in addition to that, it contains local symbols. It is noteworthy that the tomb of Bilad al-Qaytun is similar to the landmark of the wall located in the area of Al-Faranda, although the studies of the researcher Blanchard mention that the tomb of Bilad Al-Qaytoun is much older than the tombs of the wall, which is somewhat similar to the royal Mauritanian mausoleum of the city of Tipaza, Although the difference is vast in history, the presence of the shrine in an elevated area in the West Bank of the greater Kabylie region makes us think more about the reason for the construction and presence of this shrine in this place, the identity of its builder and its importance. Keywords: Keyword1; keyword2; keyword: ; funeral room; symbols; decorations; tomb; mausoleum
