Abstract: The sexual exploitation of children via the Internet is one of the most serious challenges posed by the digital revolution, as children have become vulnerable to multiple crimes such as sexual solicitation, production and distribution of child pornography, and virtual trafficking, requiring strict legal intervention to protect them. This study addresses the international legal framework for combating this phenomenon, as well as the national framework, reviewing how Algerian lawmakers have dealt with these crimes by criminalizing related acts, explaining investigation and prosecution mechanisms, and highlighting the importance of international cooperation and developing mechanisms to monitor cyberspace.
