Strategic Management Control And Credit Risk Management: The Case Of Cpa Bank In Algeria

Abstract

This article analyzes the contribution of strategic management control to mastery of credit risk and its impact on financial performance of an Algerian Commercial bank. The study is based on a Principal Component Analysis (PCA) applied of the data of the public People’s Credit bank of Algeria (CPA-BANK) over the period 2003 to 2023. The results allow for the identification of the most critical management control tools in the steering of credit risk management.
