The Importance Of The French Archive Reports In Writing The History Of The Historical Third State Revolution: The Region Of Bani Wartilan's Province And Its Surroundings As A Model

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the problem of the content of the monthly reports issued by the civilian governor, Mr. Paul Solelis, mayor of the mixed municipality of Guergour, which today includes the territory of the Bani Waertilane department in the northwest of the wilaya of Setif and its vicinity from the wilayas of Bejaia, Bordj Bou Arreridj, and Messila, a strategic transit area with complex terrain, in which several battles, ambushes and operations took place, and was the safe place for Colonel Amirouche, the commander of the wilaya and his assistants. It includes introducing this region from the third historical mandate and reviewing the content of the reports of the French archives that recorded political events such as local elections, as well as the precautionary and preemptive measures taken by the colonial authorities locally, to prevent the population from joining the ranks of the revolution and spreading misleading propaganda to discredit the revolutionaries and mujahideen who joined it in the region and abroad, and discussing the credibility of these reports, and whether they can be relied upon as a source of local history to record the history of the revolution in this area of the historical state. Paul Solelis, maire de la commune mixte de Guergour, qui comprend aujourd'hui le territoire du département de Beni Ouertilane au nord-ouest de la wilaya de Sétif et ses environs des wilayas de Béjaïa, Bordj Bou Arréridj et Sétif, une zone de transit stratégique au relief complexe, dans laquelle plusieurs batailles, embuscades et opérations ont eu lieu, et était le lieu sûr pour le Colonel Amirouche, le commandant de la wilaya et ses adjoints. Il s'agit notamment de présenter cette région qui fait partie de la troisième wilaya historique et de revoir le contenu des rapports des archives françaises qui ont enregistré des événements politiques tels que les élections locales, ainsi que les mesures de précaution et de prévention prises par les autorités coloniales localement, pour empêcher la population de rejoindre les rangs de la révolution et diffuser une propagande trompeuse pour discréditer les révolutionnaires et les moudjahidines qui l'ont rejoint dans la région et à l'étranger, et discuter de la crédibilité de ces rapports, et si on peut s'y fier comme source d'histoire locale pour enregistrer l'histoire de la révolution dans cette région de la troisième wilaya historique. Et ses régions voisines, en l'absence de sources algériennes écrites. الملخص: تناقش هذه الدراسة مشكلة مضمون التقارير الشهرية الصادرة عن المحافظ المدني السيد بول سوليلي ، عمدة بلدية قرقور المختلطة، والتي تضم اليوم إقليم دائرة بني ورتيلان في شمال غرب ولاية سطيف ومحيطها من ولايتي بجاية وبرج بوعريريج وسطيف، وهي منطقة عبور استراتيجية ذات تضاريس معقدة، وقعت فيها عدة معارك وكمائن وعمليات، وكانت المكان الآمن للعقيد عميروش قائد الولاية الثالثة التاريخية ومساعديه. ويشمل التعريف بهذه المنطقة من الولاية التاريخية الثالثة وعرض مضمون تقارير الأرشيف الفرنسي التي سجلت الأحداث السياسية مثل الانتخابات المحلية، وكذلك الإجراءات الاحترازية والاستباقية التي اتخذتها السلطات الاستعمارية محليا، لمنع السكان من الانضمام إلى صفوف الثورة ونشر دعاية مضللة لتشويه سمعة الثوار والمجاهدين الذين انضموا إليها في المنطقة وخارجها، ومناقشة مصداقية هذه التقارير، ومدى إمكانية الاعتماد عليها كمصدر لتدوين وكتابة التاريخ المحلي للثورة في هذه المنطقة من الولاية التاريخية الثالثة والمناطق المجاورة لها في ظل غياب المصادر الجزائرية المكتوبة.
