Occupational Safety Requirements And Their Role In Ensuring Job Security: A Field Study At The Cable Industry Institution, General Cable Branch - Biskra

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the role of occupational safety requirements in ensuring job security for employees of the cable industry institution, General Cable Branch in Biskra. The study utilized a descriptive approach and employed a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection and analysis. The sample consisted of 66 individuals selected from the total population of 656 employees, according to stratified random sampling techniques. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26. The study concluded that improving working conditions enhances employees' sense of psychological security. Additionally, it found that incentives provided to employees reinforce their sense of job stability, which is essential for ensuring job security in the cable industry institution, General Cable Branch in Biskra.
