This study aimed to examine the impact of financial inclusion on strengthening the financial stability of Arab banking systems, with the broader objective of achieving overall financial and monetary stability. To this end, the research focuses on the core principles of financial inclusion, exploring the nature, mechanisms, and transmission channels through which it may affect financial stability. The relationship between financial inclusion and financial stability is analyzed using a bilateral correlation matrix between financial inclusion indicators and the Z-SCORE index, a recognized measure of banking sector stability in Arab countries. The findings indicate that financial inclusion levels across Arab banking systems remain modest and exhibit neither a significant positive nor negative effect on financial stability. This outcome is attributed to the structural weaknesses of Arab banking systems and the limited effectiveness of the financial inclusion strategies currently in place.
