Mechanisms For Mitigating The Risks Of Agricultural Pesticides In Algerian Legislation

Abstract
It is known that it is not possible to dispense with the use of agricultural pesticides at the present time in order to obtain a good yield free of diseases. However the improper and irrational use of these toxic substances poses a threat to human and animal health and to the environment in general. Countries are spending huge sums of money to treat diseases caused by these pesticides. In order to mitigate these damages the Algerian legislator issued a set of legal texts aimed at regulating the use of agricultural pesticides on the national territory. It included the registration of pesticides their importation their manufacture their use and the prohibition of use cases.
