Abstract
Abstract The study aims to highlight the role of Sheikh Mohamed Al-Bashir Al-Ibrahimi in protecting and strengthening Algerian national identity during the French colonial period. It reached two main conclusions: -Al-Ibrahimi established a strong cultural foundation through education and advocacy, contributing to raising awareness among new generations about the importance of preserving heritage. -Al-Ibrahimi emerged as a symbol of cultural resistance, with his work serving as a link between the past and the present, affirming that national identity is the result of continuous struggle to safeguard values and traditions. الملخص: تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على دور الشيخ محمد البشير الإبراهيمي في حماية وتعزيز الهوية الوطنية الجزائرية خلال فترة الاستعمار الفرنسي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى استنتاجين رئيسيين: قام الإبراهيمي بتأسيس قاعدة ثقافية قوية من خلال التعليم والدعوة، مما ساهم في زيادة الوعي بين الأجيال الجديدة بأهمية الحفاظ على التراث. برز الإبراهيمي كرمز للمقاومة الثقافية، حيث كانت أعماله بمثابة حلقة وصل بين الماضي والحاضر، مؤكداً أن الهوية الوطنية هي نتيجة للنضال المستمر للحفاظ على القيم والتقاليد.
