Authors : Benhacine Samir .

Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the importance of educational guidance at the secondary school level and to define quality assurance standards in this field within national and international educational frameworks. It also sought to explore the perceptions of 105 first-year secondary school students regarding these standards and to examine whether their views differed according to gender or academic stream. The study adopted a descriptive approach, and data were collected using a questionnaire specifically designed for this purpose. The findings revealed a broad consensus among the participants regarding the core quality standards, which encompassed educational, pedagogical, psychological, and social dimensions. Moreover, no statistically significant differences were found in students' responses that could be attributed to gender or academic stream.
