Abstract
The rapid evolution of digital technologies is transforming traditional supply chains into more agile, responsive, and intelligent systems. This paper explores the impact of digital supply chain transformation on operational performance within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on the role of smart technologies like big data analytics, and blockchain. These technologies enable real-time data sharing, predictive maintenance, enhanced demand forecasting, and improved decision-making processes. By integrating these tools, manufacturers can reduce costs, increase efficiency, and respond more quickly to market changes. In thise paper we In this paper we will show a company of inSiemens (Siemens, 2025) AG as a global manufacturing and technology powerhouse based in Germany, has been a leader in adopting smart technologies to transform its supply chain operations. As part of the Industry 4.0 movement, Siemens implemented a comprehensive digitalization strategy to enhance its operational performance, especially within its manufacturing plants.
