This study investigates the role of the collective unconscious in Arabic children's literature from a Jungian perspective. It explores how archetypes such as the Hero, the Shadow, the Mother, and the Wise Old Man appear in symbolic narratives addressed to children. These archetypes function beyond surface meaning, activating emotional and psychological processes in the child's inner world. Through selected Arabic tales, the research analyzes how stories serve as symbolic journeys of transformation and self-integration. The child interacts with these patterns unconsciously, finding in them images for fear, courage, guidance, and emotional growth. The study highlights the narrative’s role as a mirror of collective memory, not merely as a didactic tool. Ultimately, it calls for deeper critical attention to the symbolic and psychological functions of children’s literature in shaping identity and imagination
