The Effectiveness Of The Cooperative Learning Strategy In Acquiring Mathematical Concepts Among Middle-school Students -a Case Study Of First-year Students

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى تبيان فعالية استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني في تحسين اكتساب المفاهيم الرياضية لدى تلاميذ السنة الأولى من التعليم المتوسط، اعتمدنا على المنهج التجريبي، حيث قُسِّمت العينة إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية خضعت للتعليم وفق استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني، وضابطة تلقت تعليماً تقليدياً. أظهرت النتائج فروقاً ذات دلالة إحصائية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في القياس البعدي مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة في اختبار المفاهيم الرياضية، في حين لا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا لدى المجموعة الضابطة بين القياس القبلي و البعدي. The study aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the cooperative learning strategy in improving the acquisition of mathematical concepts among first-year middle school students. The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group that was taught using the cooperative learning strategy, and a control group that received traditional instruction. The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in the final test of mathematical concepts compared to the control group. In contrast, no significant differences were found in the control group between the first test and the final test
