Abstract: Neighbouring rights, as recognised in most domestic legal systems - including Algerian legislation - constitute a significant component of the intellectual property regime. These rights contribute to artistic and creative production through various categories of beneficiaries such as performing artists, producers, and broadcasting organisations. Accordingly, the legal protection of neighbouring rights under Algerian law ensures the effective safeguarding of these rights. It also defines the modalities for their use and exploitation, including performance, reproduction, and broadcasting rights, thereby playing an essential role in promoting artistic and cultural creativity.
