Authors : Aziz Alia . Abdelrahim Khadija .

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes how historical events manifest in the poetic discourse of Mohammed Mustafa Al-Ghamari. We used an analytical approach, drawing on structuralism, stylistics, and semiotics to study and interpret the poetic texts. The research focuses on the poetic representation of both Islamic historical events and those of the Algerian Liberation Revolution. Al-Ghamari, with his exceptional poetic talent, imbues his work with a renewed historical impulse, making his verse a vehicle for his own stance on these events. He unites with the historical events he invokes, finding an embodiment of history in their features. For example, his poetry embodies the Battle of Badr from the Prophet's life and the Algerian Liberation Revolution, among other historical events. The study concludes that Al-Ghamari's poetic discourse serves as a powerful medium for re-envisioning history and connecting it to his contemporary perspective.
