Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to shed light on the various legal aspects related to the minutes written in criminal cases, as the research begins by defining the concept of criminal records, then addresses explaining the various formal and substantive conditions for writing criminal minutes, as well as the categories and bodies legally authorized to write these minutes. The topic of " Rules of records preparing in criminal matters" get a great importance in the field of criminal justice, as it works to ensure the transparency of criminal procedures taken against individuals, in addition to imposing a type of control over the work of judicial police in the early stages of criminal cases in general. At the end of the research, the problem raised will be answered according to the analytical method appropriate to the nature of the subject studied, which is the nature, types and conditions for writing criminal minutes, as well as the bodies and persons legally authorized to write and prepare these legal documents.
