الملخص
تعد الأرشيفات التركية مِن المصادر التاريخية الأكثر أهمية في فهم تاريخ فلسطين، وبالأخص خلال المرحلة الانتقالية في تاريخ فلسطين من حقبة الحكم العثماني إلى مرحلة الاحتلال البريطاني، ذلك أن هذه الحقبة سترسم الواقع التاريخي والآني لفلسطين. وفي ثنايا الأرشيف العثماني/أرشيف رئاسة الجمهورية التركية نقف على كم هائل مِن الوثائق والأرشيفات والمُراسلات والتقارير التي تحتوي على معلومات قد لا نعثر عليها في أماكن أُخر. لذا تحاول هذه الورقة التركيز بشكل أساسي على محاولة رصد وتتبع القضية الفلسطينية في وثائق الأرشيفات التركية، تحاول هذه الورقة معالجة أهمية الأرشيفات التركية ومركزيتها في التأريخ للتاريخ الفلسطيني عامة، والقضية الفلسطينية بشكل خاص. هذه الورقة لا تدَّعي إحاطتها بالموضوع مِن كل جوانبه إلا أنَّها ستسعى لأن تكون بوابة يستطيع الباحث مِن خلالها معرفة أنواع للرصيد الأرشيفي الفلسطيني في إعادة بناء السرديات التاريخية المنتشرة أو على الأقل إعادة تأثيث هذه السردية بالانفتاح على مصدر جديد لا غنى عنه للباحث في هذه المسألة. ABSTRACT: The Turkish archives are a vital resource for understanding Palestine's history, especially during its transition from Ottoman rule to British occupation (1917-1922). The significance of the period under study lies in its role in shaping Palestine's historical past and its current situation. The Palestinian issue cannot be discussed without reference to the major historical developments that are documented in the Ottoman and Turkish archives. These archives, particularly the Ottoman/Republican Presidential Archives, contain a wealth of documents, correspondence, and reports that offer unique insights, often unavailable elsewhere. This paper focuses on tracing the Palestinian issue through these archives, highlighting their significance in reconstructing or enriching historical narratives. While not exhaustive, the paper serves as a gateway to understanding the critical role of these archives in shaping a more comprehensive historical perspective. This paper does not claim to exhaustively cover the subject from all angles; rather, it seeks to serve as a gateway through which researchers can identify the various types of Palestinian archival holdings useful in reconstructing dispersed historical narratives—or at least in reframing these narratives by engaging with an indispensable new source for scholars of this issue.
