Authors : Belhouari Karima .

Abstract

Abstract : This article discusses the development in African political studies from multiple intellectual perspectives, starting from the Western colonial perspective to the present day. It focuses on the ideological bias that dominated Western analysis, leading to the imposition of intellectual hegemony to maintain Africa's dependency on the West. It also presents African perspectives that reject this influence and propose analytical frameworks rooted in Africa's social, cultural, and historical realities. Additionally, the article addresses Arab studies aimed at enhancing Afro-Arab cooperation in response to the challenges posed by the international environment. The article provides a critical perspective on each viewpoint, and in the end, presents a set of recommendations for advancing research in the field of African studies.
