Contribution To Human-centered Librarianship

Abstract
The library is a living entity where human thoughts and aspirations mix. Shaped by critical reflection and participatory dynamics, it is a space for analysis and dialogue. But these approaches have their limits: one can become too elitist, the other can undermine cohesion. To meet these challenges, we need a librarianship that is Human-centered, where everyone is at the centre of shared knowledge. The library then becomes a living organism, weaving together emotions, memories and interactions to enrich knowledge. Its evolution is based on the alliance between technology and humanism, redefining the librarian as a transmitter of knowledge and creator of social connections.
