Abstract
Abstract: The civil society holds significant importance for many philosophers and thinkers, as it is a collection of organizations established through the free will of individuals within any society, As its organizations aim to achieve their goals and the interests of their members, such as civil associations, social movements, and non-governmental organizations, Civil society organizations work to foster the spirit of citizenship within the community, enabling citizens to play a role that creates a dual relationship; The first is between them and society within the framework of civil rights, and the second is between them and the authorities within the framework of political rights. Civil society organizations also contribute to spreading civic culture, with the aim of establishing new patterns of rationality in society, the development of human rights awareness has become one of the most important areas of work for these organizations, This study seeks to examine how civil society organizations contribute to promoting citizenship values in Algeria.
