The Impact Of Digital Transformation On Attracting Foreign Direct Investment To Algeria During (1993-2022)

Abstract
The study aims to measure the impact of digital transformation on attracting foreign direct investment to Algeria, using annual data for the period 1993 to 2022, by model ARDL, The results revealed the existence of a co- integration relationship between digital transformation on attracting foreign direct investment in the long term, the study also showed the positive impact of both mobile and fixed phone subscriptions on foreign investment flows into Algeria, and the negative impact of the Internet subscription variable on foreign investment flows into Algeria in the short term. In addition, the study expound, through the correction coefficient, the length of time that the foreign investment flows takes to return to moderate in the long term when any changes occur in digital transformation indicators. The study recommended accelerating the digital transformation process given its importance in all fields in our current era .
