ملخص: الفنتازيا أو الخيالة بتعدد وتباين في تسمياتها من منطقة الى أخرى يبقى المعنى والقيمة واحدة كونها أحد أبرز جوانب الهوية الثقافية الجزائرية، فهي عبارة عن طقس ثقافي تراثي احتفالي يتنوع في أنماطه ويعكس التراث الثقافي والتاريخي الطويل للبلاد، يعود أصل الفنتازيا إلى تاريخ قديم طويل تغيرت من خلاله العديد من الممارسات والمعاني التي يحملها، فمن خلال هذه الورقة البحثية تطرقنا إلى الطقوس والاحتفالية المتنوعة التي تسجل فيها الفنتازيا الجزائرية حضورها سواء من خلال المناسبات الوطنية والأعياد، على غرار عيد الاستقلال وذكرى الثورة الجزائرية المجيدة، وحفلات الزفاف والمهرجانات وغيرها من المناسبات الأخرى ومحاولة منا الكشف عن البعد الرمزي والوظيفي الذي تلعبه الفنتازيا في ترسيخ الروح الوطنية والذاكرة التاريخية للشعب الجزائري، فالفنتازيا تلعب دورا فعالا في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي ونقله عبر الأجيال، حيث يتعلم الجيل الجديد من أسلافهم هذه الفنون ويشاركون في العروض التقليدية، هنا تتعد تكون الفنتازيا فكرة أنها عرض ترفيهي ، لتصبح تعبيرا عن القيم التقليدية وأحد أركان الهوية للمجتمع الجزائري من الشجاعة والنبل والنضال والمقاومة. Abstract Fantasia, or horse display, with its various names, retains the same meaning and value as it is one aspect of Algerian identity. It is a cultural celebratory ritual that varies in its forms and reflects the long cultural and historical heritage of the country. The origins of fantasia date back to ancient times, extending over a long history. Through this research paper, we addressed the rituals of diverse religious and celebratory occasions where fantasia is present in Algeria during national events and holidays, such as Independence Day and the anniversary of the glorious Algerian revolution, wedding ceremonies, and other occasions, while attempting to reveal the symbolic and functional dimensions that fantasia plays in enhancing national spirit and recalling the history of the Algerian people. Fantasia plays a prominent role in preserving cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations, where youth learn these arts from their ancestors and participate in traditional performances. Here, fantasia transcends being mere entertainment displays to become one of the pillars of identity, thus expressing traditional values of Algerian society such as courage, nobility, generosity, and sacrifice
