The Risk Society And The Dangers Of Social Media Use On Social Bonds مجتمع المخاطر ومخاطر استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي على الروابط الاجتماعية

الملخص
The world is witnessing a profound transformation in the nature of risks facing contemporary societies, largely driven by rapid technological developments, particularly the widespread use of social media platforms. This presentation draws on Ulrich Beck’s concept of the Risk Society to analyze the changes that have affected social bonds as a result of intensive engagement with social networking sites. This study is guided by the following central question: To what extent have social media platforms, as manifestations of the risk society, contributed to the weakening or reshaping of social bonds in contemporary societies? To address this question, a descriptive-analytical approach is adopted, relying on recent sociological studies on the social impacts of digital media use, with a particular focus on emerging behavioral patterns and the transformation of social relationships. The presentation highlights a set of risks stemming from the growing use of social media, which have had negative repercussions on the structure of social bonds, including: The disintegration of traditional social relationships, especially within the family and local community, due to the replacement of face-to-face interaction with virtual communication. The spread of feelings of isolation and social loneliness, despite the illusion of constant connectedness. The rise of superficiality and image-driven interactions, which undermine the authenticity and depth of social ties. Increasing social pressure and comparison, fostered by the continuous display of curated lifestyles and personal achievements. Threats to privacy and the erosion of social trust, as personal data becomes more vulnerable to exposure and misuse. The presentation concludes that while social media offers new opportunities for connection, it has become a major contributor to the production of social fragility in the risk society. This calls for the development of collective digital awareness and the promotion of responsible, balanced use of these platforms, in order to preserve and strengthen social cohesion in the digital age. Key words: risk society, social media platforms, social bonds, contemporary societies. ملخص: يشهد العالم تحوّلاً عميقًا في طبيعة المخاطر التي تواجه المجتمعات المعاصرة، بفعل التطورات التكنولوجية المتسارعة، وعلى رأسها انتشار شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي. في هذا السياق، يستند هذا العمل إلى مقاربة أولريش بيك حول "مجتمع المخاطر" لتحليل التغيرات التي طرأت على الروابط الاجتماعية نتيجة الاستخدام المكثف لمواقع التواصل. تنطلق هذه المداخلة من الإشكالية التالية: إلى أي مدى ساهمت شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، بوصفها جزءًا من مجتمع المخاطر، في إضعاف أو إعادة تشكيل الروابط الاجتماعية في المجتمعات المعاصرة؟ لمعالجة هذه الإشكالية، تم اعتماد منهج وصفي تحليلي يستند إلى دراسات سوسيولوجية حديثة حول استخدام الوسائط الرقمية وآثارها الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على المظاهر السلوكية الجديدة والتغيرات في نمط العلاقات الاجتماعية. تُبرز المداخلة مجموعة من المخاطر التي أفرزها الاستخدام المتزايد لشبكات التواصل، والتي انعكست سلبًا على بنية الروابط الاجتماعية، ومن أبرزها: تفكك العلاقات الاجتماعية التقليدية داخل الأسرة والمجتمع المحلي نتيجة استبدال التواصل الوجاهي بالتواصل الافتراضي.انتشار مشاعر العزلة والوحدة الاجتماعية رغم الانخراط الظاهري في فضاءات رقمية مزدحمة. تنامي ثقافة التزييف والمظاهر، ما يُضعف من صدقية العلاقات ويحولها إلى علاقات سطحية وغير متينة.تصاعد حدة المقارنة والضغط الاجتماعي بسبب ثقافة العرض المستمر للإنجازات والحياة المثالية. وتهديد الخصوصية وتآكل الثقة الاجتماعية نتيجة سهولة اختراق الحياة الشخصية عبر المنصات الرقمية. وتخلص المداخلة إلى أن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، رغم ما تقدمه من إمكانيات للتقارب والتواصل، تُعدّ من أبرز عوامل إنتاج الهشاشة الاجتماعية في "مجتمع المخاطر"، ما يفرض ضرورة تطوير وعي رقمي جماعي يعزز من استخدام مسؤول ومتوازن لهذه الوسائط، ويحافظ على النسيج الاجتماعي من التفكك والانهيار التدريجي. الكلمات المفتاحية: مجتمع المخاطر،شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي،الروابط الاجتماعية،المجتمعات المعاصرة _____________
