Granada Province During The Middle Ages -study Into Its Natural Manifestations-

Abstract
Andalusia is considered one of the richest and most naturally diverse regions of the Islamic world. The country contains a group of regions, the most famous of which is Granada. Through this article, we attempt to highlight the most important natural features of the Granada region, including plains, mountains, and rivers. This region was distinguished by its richness and diversity of its natural features, which were represented by an extended mountain range, the most famous of which is Mount Shaleir. These mountain ranges are surrounded by a group of fertile and rich plains, the most important and prominent of which is the Granada Plain, or what is known as the Granada Prairie, The province of Granada is also distinguished by the abundance of its water sources, emanating from these mountain ranges. تعتبر الأندلس من أغنى مناطق العالم الإسلامي، وأكثرها تنوعاً من الناحية الطبيعية. وقد حوت البلاد مجموعة من الأقاليم، وأشهر تلك الأقاليم إقليم غرناطة، الواقع في الركن الجنوبي الشرقي للأندلس. ومن خلال هذا المقال نحاول إبراز أهم المظاهر الطبيعية المشكلة لإقليم غرناطة خلال العصور الوسطى، من سهول وجبال وأنهار. وقد تميّز هذا الإقليم بغناه وتنوع مظاهره الطبيعية، والتي تمثلت في سلسلة جبال ممتدة، أشهرها جبل شُلَيْر؛ وتحيط هذه السلاسل الجبلية، بمجموعة من السهول الخصبة والغنية، أهمها وأبرزها سهل غرناطة، أو ما يعرف بمرج غرناطة، الشهير في التاريخ الأندلسي، هذا السهل تميّز بانبساطه ورتابته، وخصوبة تربته، وغناه، ووفرة وتنوع غلاته الزراعية. كما تميز إقليم غرناطة بكثرة وغزارة مصادر مياهه، وخاصة الأنهار، المنبعثة من تلك السلاسل الجبلية. مما منح هذا الإقليم الغنى والشهرة على مدار التاريخ الأندلسي.
