Abstract

Through this research, we aim to identify smart cities, their characteristics and objectives, and the role of cybersecurity in protecting and sustaining them. We will also present some of the experiences of smart citiese worldwide. Cybersecurity has been foundto protect smart citiess from various cyber threats, protect personal and government information and data, and address gaps within smart city systems نهدف من خلال هذا البحث إلى التعرف على ماهية المدن الذكية وخصائصها وأهدافها، ودور الأمن السيبراني في حماية واستمرار المدن الذكية، بالإضافة إلى عرض بعض تجارب المدن الذكية حول العالم. وقد تم التوصل إلى أن الأمن السيبراني يحمي المدن الذكية من مختلف التهديدات السيبرانية، كما يعمل على حماية المعلومات والبيانات الشخصية و الحكومية، وعلاج الثغرات الموجودة داخل الأنظمة الخاصة بالمدن الذكية
