Abstract
The manuscript heritage can only be used if researchers publish it and verify it, allowing scholars to benefit from it in their research and employ it to revive the image of predecessors.The study discusses the significance of manuscripts in preserving Islamic intellectual heritage, particularly through the contributions of Dr. Abū al-Qāsim Saʻd Allāh, an Algerian historian dedicated to studying and preserving local manuscripts. It highlights his efforts to counter colonial narratives and promote Algerian intellectual contributions, alongside the work of Abdul Razak bin Muhammad bin Hamadoush Al-Jazaeri, an 18th-century traveler and writer whose observations provide valuable insights into Algeria's social and political history.
