Abstract

Heritage constitutes a comprehensive body of knowledge encompassing all aspects of human life. As a rich and abundant resource, it encapsulates the sum total of human experiences and achievements. Moreover, it reflects the continuity of cultural practices across time and space. Heritage serves as a historical record of past generations' activities, manifested in various forms such as folk costumes, songs, traditions, customs, religious texts, literary works, and historical events. This contribution seeks to provide researchers in folklore studies with a set of contemporary methodological tools to facilitate the collection of intangible cultural heritage. It highlights the importance of specific skills and provides guidance for training and education in anthropological fieldwork, The aim is to preserve this heritage before it is irrevocably lost due to the rapid pace of cultural change.
