After the legislator confirmed that the state of the aquatic environment in Algeria requires intervention at the highest level to mitigate the risks and in adherence to the agreements signed by Algeria in this regard, a series of laws were enacted to ensure comprehensive protection of the aquatic environment from all pollution risks and the resulting climate changes. These laws were reinforced with strict sanctions to guarantee the achievement of this objective. From this perspective, this research paper will address the concept of the aquatic environment and climate change (Section One), followed by a detailed discussion of Algeria's efforts in preserving the aquatic environment from climate change (Section Two).
