Gender inequality in the labor market remains a persistent problem, despite advances in education and access to employment. This article analyzes wage gaps and discrimination using different methodological approaches, including the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition and econometric models. It highlights the structural and normative factors that perpetuate these inequalities, taking into account intersectional dimensions such as ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic status. Finally, the study highlights the crucial role of public policies and organizational initiatives in promoting greater professional equality.
