Paying tribute to an Algerian family that dedicated their lives in educating youth and spreading knowledge for over a Century, in the city of Fes. Unfortunately, unknown in its hometown, that is the Family of Ben Djelal. Originally from Algeria and under the unstable circumstances, it moved from the city of Tlemcen to settle in the city of Fes. This family occupied prestigious positions due to the high regards granted to them by the Saadi Sultans. They played a huge role in reviving the monotheist doctrines of al-Senouci and changing the social status of scholars that was based on austerity. This humble work is intended to track all sources of this Tlemceni scholar family that did not receive much care from Algerian researchers and build up a complete picture about it.
